The company was founded in 2000 in Huntsville, Alabama, specializing in aviation maintenance and logistics support. The company’s founder, the late William “Bill” Tripp, was a service-disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as an employee of Sikorsky Helicopters in support of the Department of Defense and the warfighter for over 48 years. MICOR Industries acquired Hawk Enterprises, LLC in 2022.
